Why is it important to get a Second Opinion? Studies have found than 88 percent of patients would like to receive a Second Opinion after leaving their doctors office. A study published in the Journal of Evaluation in Clinical Practice, found that 1 in 5 patients was misdiagnosed. Most primary care providers are seeing 15-30 patients per day.
